Dr.Wegerif

Garrett Wegerif, MD, is a Florida native and grew up on the Space Coast of Florida. He attended the University of South Florida for his Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated with honors. He then attended Ross University School of Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and graduated with honors in 2013.

He completed his general surgery residency at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic Florida and served as Chief Resident in 2019. He has been board certified by the American Board of Surgery since 2019. He then went on to complete a residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of New Mexico, again serving as chief resident in his final year. Throughout his academic career Dr. Wegerif has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

Dr. Wegerif’s extensive residency training in general surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery has prepared him to take care of complex surgical problems throughout the body but he has a particular interest in cosmetic surgery of the breast and body for both men and women.

During the consultation process Dr. Wegerif will take the time to really understand your concerns and goals before offering a treatment plan. He will present you with the pros and cons of each surgical and nonsurgical option while always making safety the number one priority. He believes patient education is paramount to a successful patient-doctor relationship.
